JONAS BAES: PATANGIS-BUWAYA, based on narratives of the Iraya-Mangyan people of Mindoro Island in the Philippines, and composed at the Kanlungan Internal Refugee Center while Baes was engaging Iraya-Mangyan and other families from indigenous communities who suffered militarization. Scored for four blown instruments from any culture, this version is rendered by the Budapest-based flute quartet, TeTraVERSI FUVOLANEGYES, and performed live at the Magyar Radio- Budapest Bartok Channel during the May 2006 Hommage a Bartok Festival. This excellent rendition is directed by Gergely ITTZES
