I survived the 1993 Mississippi River flood. My heart and prayers go out to everyone hurt by this flood. It is so hard to fathom if you are there first hand battling the water.

i saw the aftermath this weekend. its chaos for those people

they had the national guard come and everything this is worse than 2006

my power went out because of the stupid flood and most of the water is sewage and kids were playing in it

@123dadsangel - You're welcome! Glad to help. For anyone who can, the recovery effort is in need of financial assistance if you are able. The Red Cross is doing an excellent job housing 1500+ at the BU events center. Student groups & churches are providing great support. Many locals lost houses...historic buildings have been condemned in Owego. If you're able, please contact your favorite charity and donate.

Im sorry but most other combinations i have seen are collaborations of pictures and video from the people stuck in this disaster! We should not be promoting people driving around during a state of emergency to bring there youtube views up

@adubyuable – Do you feel the same way when you turn on the news and see footage of natural disaster or war? Someone had to film that. My interest here was to document this historic event in an interesting and respectful way.
