John comes off as arrogant because he speaks his mind and is completely honest, unlike every other rock star or celebrity out there. He refuses to brown-nose or butter up any band or person, and is unafraid to be hated for his views. On Deep Purple: I thought we buried that lot years ago. Brilliant!

Wow. So I was talking about the Sex Pistols with my mother. She just told me she worked at a restaurant in Eindhoven, while The Sex Pistols came there to have breakfast. She even served them! I was like... wow, and you didn't even talk to them, or ask an autograph? She said, no... So I asked, what do you remember of them? "Well, they ordered very weird food for breakfast". Haha.
