@pcolalongfellow what is the name of the net that he puts the fish in when he catches them
-
how big is that mesh?
-
it like that one he let free calls a sailfish...ATTACKKK XD

Or you could just dump all the bait from the cast net directly to the livewell. But your video is still great.

@studdgage looks like an old mako to me

I like the way you operate, esp the part about releasing what you dont intend to use that day... The RINSE of the cast net is a nice touch as well, The bunker Stank is definitely in the SLIME. and the net would have stank up the boat later on.. nice video... thanks again. i learned something.. gonna make on of those transfer nets for sure.

where did you get that transfer pen?

@pcolalongfellow
It is almost identical in layout to a 25' Mako. Its a 28 Master Marine.

Also you said in the video you had a sardine cast net. Basically to catch small bait fish that the bigger cast nets cant do. Can you buy those cast nets at a fishing store? I never seen em

@xSkaterxDorkx The sardine net mesh size is 1/4" (I think I got it from River Marine Supply). I was using a 8' True Spread (by West Coast Nets).

The transfer net I'm using is made by Stowpen (me). I got the idea for this a couple of years ago....I got tired on menhaden oil on the decks. I couldn't find any products like this in the stores so I started making them.
