Violin Divas, Detroit's Noel Night Part 3 , Charles H Wright African American Museum, 12/4/10

This footage was shot by my husband, Richard. My sister Michelle (the only professional violinist in the group, and the bandleader of Musique Noire) founded and leads our recreational violin group, The Violin Divas. We all do a variety of things in our professional lives-but we thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to pick up violins and have some challenging fun! Here, in honor of its early arrival this year, we are playing a Chanukah tune, at the 38th annual Noel Night. This is a huge event that takes place during the holidays in mid-town Detroit. Museums, Art Institutes, Restaurants, and other businesses, and tons of creative acts, including musicians, actors, dance troops, storytellers, etc. participate.
