i love angel/buffy together but spike is an amazingly funny character one off my favourites in my opinion he should of ended up with someone like faith then they can be badass together <3

This is true. No matter how much Buffy treated Spike like shit, Spike was the only one that never left because he's badass like that. He's pro.

@Aaeiyn Spike definitely had the best quotes. "A bear! You made a bear! UNDO IT! UNDO IT!" He was the only one of Buffy's lovers who could make me laugh consistently. And he had those moments of shifting moods where he'd be pissed off and then make that "awww" look at Buffy. I also felt that considering what he was - a soulless vampire - he treated Buffy the best. In the end, he never left her.

Okay. I'm a fangirl. Sorry.

I really do like that you support Riley. Most people don't.

When you put it into context that like, I very much respect your opinion that way :), but I still don't think that way xD Spike is most definitely one of my favorite characters who had the best quotes. I remember in that same season, when he realizes how much Buffy matters to him, he was standing outside of her house, chain smoking, and she caught him and asked what he was doing in five words or less.  His response was epic! "Out for a walk, bitch." xD

@Aaeiyn Riley was upset because, yes, he thought she wasn't turning to him like a girlfriend should, but Buffy was trying to deal with Glory by that point, and as she directly said to him, "I'm right here. Touch me."

When Riley discovered that he was so strong from the Initiative drugs, he didn't want to get his heart fixed because then he'd be weak. So, to me, that says he was insecure about Buffy's strength.

I don't like how Buffy treated him either =( ... But I like Spike very much.
