All footage was taken from today's training (12/3/10). It was suggested to me that I submit a video for NASM's Correctional Exercise Specialist (CEx) Video Contest.

Basically what I have attempted to do is integrate the CEx continuum (inhibit, lengthen, activate, integrate) into my training. What you will see in the video are all parts of the continuum applied to the Skeleton athlete.

The Skeleton athlete is a rare breed. We are 1 part Sprinter, 1 part Olympic Lifter, 1 part pilot/driver, and 1 part winter athlete. Naturally, applying the CEx continuum proves quite difficult, but not impossible.

Throughout my training I have experimented with practical applications of the CEx and the Skeleton athlete. As you can see from the video, things are never quite "textbook", However, I have done my best to adhere to the little that I do know as far as CEx and the continuum. I welcome the day when a protocol that works best for the Bobsled/Skeleton athlete is found.
