Melinda Baily a 3 year convert to Islam talks about how she found out about Islam, she talks about her catholic and Christian background. She talks about how she was exposed to Islam through her sister who married a Muslim brother. They both started researching Islam and the truth for about 2 years when her sister converted to Islam, Melinda was not ready but was happy to see the positive changes in her sister, and then she looked more into it until she also was ready to embrace this beautiful Deen. mashaAllah, May Allah keep them all strong in their faith and new way of life. Correction= Sister said your husband isn't entitle to ur inheritance. Your husband will inherit his wife minimum 1/4 maximum 1/2 of her inheritance. The wife will inherit either 1/4 or 1/8. If there is more than one wife they will share 1/8.

I had to watch both clips to see if this is what she said. I believe what she meant was that if she (while alive) has money from her own business or property or she herself inherits money the husband does not have rights to that money. Of course if she dies before him is a different story, but I believe that's what she meant.

Thank you for sharing. I am Christian, and I've heard many negative comments from others regarding their "opinion" of Islam. Most of what they think they know is from the media. I've decided to do some research on Islam so I can find the truth for myself. Hopefully I will learn enough to offer a word of knowledge to those who are misinformed. There are good & bad people of every religion/culture/race. Let's not judge a whole group of people for the actions of a few.
