Miss you our "IVORY QUEEN OF SOUL" Dec.26, 2010 on Sunday you passed on and it's been 1 year and 3 days as of today12/29/11. I am from PA. I chose the name PhoenixStillRising because of the mythical bird, the Phoenix, reborn and rising from the ashes...victorious! I luv the lore of the legend.

Hi Icehouse, Your welcome! I have always had much love and respect for the incomparable Mz. Teena Marie, so I posted this back in 2007 when she was on Showtime At The Apollo. She deserves all the accolades that she is receiving, I'm only sorry that she didn't get more of it when she was alive. She was a tremendous talent and she is sorely missed. ^j^ ^j^ ^j^
