Arresting Bush would be political suicide, not just for conservatives, but for the Canadian government as a whole. The best thing that Harper can do is sit down with Obama and decide what to do together, insuring that Canada and the USA remain on good terms. If Obama does not agree to allow Canada to arrest Bush, Bush should be denied access to Canada - but whatever Harper does, he should talk to Obama first to prevent or minimize hostile US responses.

@skunkworks226 the city of calary is over 1 million which makes the protesters even less significant.they were students ,labor groups and the raging grannies-a group of left wing senoirs who have nothing better to do until they die.the protest was kept well away from the even which was sold out.

Holy crap I just watched this an hour ago and spent the last hour calling Parlaiment, the Ottawa Police, my MP and MPP, everyone, I can today and tomorrow. Wanna be famous ARREST HIM if he sets foot here. Section 494 of the Canadian Criminal Code allows for Citizens arrest, ALL authorities, officers and military have an adult dutiful responsibility to obey the laws of this country and our obligation to the International Criminal Courts as per the Rome Statute.

good, listen to the lawyer in here, if our authorities do not arrest or detain him that is breach of contract. All contracts severed. Get your Notice of Understanding and Intent ready you are now your own authority. You no longer have ANY legal obligation to pay taxes and have the right to demand all accomplices who allowed this war criminal to get away, held accountable. This can set us free here. They are bound by law and oath and must obey under commercial liability.
