I had just built a small summer snowboard sesh or jib or whatever at my house in. I realize everyones gonna be asking me questions about this thing so i'll put as much information as I know about it and you can certainly ask me any questions.

Ok, for the ramp, i just took an inch thick of ply wood, about 9ft long, and set it down from the top to the bottom. I just put some wood going down from the ramp for support. the top platform used to be my treehouse but as you can see in the background I took that off and now sit up there to strap in.

On top of the ramp (green stuff) is astro turf. I Bought it at home depot, they had rolls 8x6 for about $25, I bought two of them. and cut them up easily with scissors.

Rail: it looks very short, my board does drag on the ground a lot, but it's taller than that. The problem was I was jumping onto it and that was decreasing my speed by a lot. So my friend and I dug up the dirt and just put the rail in there and put astro turf ontop incase if I fall off the side, my board won't get dirty.

The rail is just wood, idk how to really explain it, I'm sure any way you build a rail it would work, you just gotta know what one looks like. I put 5 1/2 inch, i think, pieces of PVC pipe down across the rail, drilled holes on top and screwed them in from the top to the bottom onto the wood, its hard to explain, but i made it so i don't catch an edge on screws or large holes in the PVC pipes. PVC pipes work perfectly. Just water them down, put maybe WD40 or dish soap or anything slippery on it and it works perfectly. Originally I had made a box, and I put a sheet of lexan on top of it. However that did not work out becuase the lexan wasn't sliding right, i didn't try to put WD40 or Dish soap on it though. But I asked some people on youtube about lexan and why it wasn't working for me, they said that it might only work in the winter, when its cold and when there is snow. Seemed reasonable, so I just made a whole new rail.

I know I suck sooooo bad, but this was my first time trying out the new set up, I never really could do fs board slides or nose slides, but I decided to try them. I never even really tried that much of park anyway, I just go to butternuts park with my friends and we just fool around in there, but I would like to start getting into park so i thought making this rail would help.

  • You suck

  • @Happypoop1254 Thanks man! You're pretty good too.

  • Do you use your good board and skis for this? or does all of this ruin it?

  • @nickisboss1995 Well, I only have 1 board so that's what I used. It doesn't really hurt your board/ skis unless you hit rocks or something sharp. It's just turf, the most it will do is take off some wax on the bottom of your skis/ board.

    Hey buddy, go to hell!

I hate kids like you that take snowboarding as one big competition, snowboarding is about chilling and having fun.

You are a complete douchebag! I seriously want to punch kids like you right in the teeth!

But don't worry I'm sure your parents wont disown you after you dont make it into the Olympics!

  • music is god awful. setup is ok

  • stop

  • mabey your more of an indoor child

  • i wish my backyard was big so i could do this

  • go to lowes, their "linier foots" are 15x1 foot, and only 5.47 or something like that for 1 linear foot, get 2 stips of 3 linear feet, you got yourself 2 stips of 15 ft long turf strips, by 3 feet wide, plenty to make a setup. then, you can buy orange construction fence, really cheap, for the drop in, its really fast, dont use it for the landing just use terf for that, construction fence is hard landing, but fast. and for rail use PVC pipe and wood, the drop in use plywood. hope this helps
