The Indonesian President is asking his people to make a truthful and honest living. His announcement comes during a commemoration of world anti-corruption. Here's NTD Sunardi Yap with the story.
STORY:
Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono joined his Vice President Jusuf Kalla and other cabinet ministers, in advocating for people to make a truthful and honest living.
The President shared these thoughts in front of 6,000 high school students during Jakarta's World Anti-Corruption Day commemoration.

"Let's realize our dream to build an advanced, prosperous and dignified country. I am sure this can be achieved by creating honest society, free of corruption."
He also promised to eradicate corruption and target all levels of government and society. He emphasized Indonesian schools hold a very important role in upholding morals from an early age.
Indonesia has stepped up efforts to fight corruption since December 2004. Since its implementation, 280 corruption cases have been resolved, saving the country about 4 trillion rupiahs.
