Wait a minute. I've seen a design that only uses one relay per bit and a relay to control a hold line. meaning you should only need 8 relays plus 1 relay for the hold line.
Since relay logic came before valve logic I find it hard to believe that this computer would take up more space then its relay based predecessor.
but all it takes is 1 magnetic relay to have a 1 bit processor. (yes/no)
so what is he talking about

this makes no sense.....he's comparing a cpu to a hdd

8bits*(1024^3)*120GB = 1,030,792,151,040 bits, or a little over a trillion.
Seriously though, he talks about storage then processing. Is he mixing up gigabytes with gigahertz or did I miss something?

Aren't those boards from the former Computer Museum in Boston? I seem to remember seeing those there w/ the pairs of neon bulbs alternately flashing.
