Before announcing his candidacy last month, Sinduhije was one of Burundi's pioneering radio journalists and civic leaders who was awarded the CPJ's 2004 International Press Freedom Award. He is a leading voice for the rule of law in the great lakes region and in Africa as a whole. Already Sinduhije's investigation of ethnic massacres and outspoken public criticisms of the government's hit squads have earned him death threats and two recent assassination attempts.

Alexis need to have enough love to all burundians to become president, in case his focus on the righty target wich is to build the country and not really insist on what happen in the past. Everybody make mistake all what Burundians what is to get out of trouble and get people who have vision to lead them

I also think Alexis should continue to work from the outside.

Otherwise the path to the presidency maybe risky and I believe he will not accomplish that much, for now.

In the USA, the Media influences the masses to elect a President. So, Alexis needs to make sure, his Radio Station is heard all over the country to start changing hearts of new Generations.

Burunidian and Africa diaspora needs to help financially his station if possibly.

He is the hope of Africa. He is so refreshing to say the least, a good Politician and Leader who want to bring people together!

Burundians need to support him, and I am sure if more people know him and his intelligence and humanity, they will elect him.

He is a bridge toward peace in Burunid, otherwise, Burundi will continue to suffer of the ethnic wars perpatred by the elite burundians who want to still in power and the poor desperate majority.
