  • First time I have ever tried to change brakes. It was a big success.

    Thank You

  • @jetersdouble1 Welcome.

  • Hi, could you help me out? my car's front right caliper makes a sound like something is loose. Ive checked it and it looks like the piston retracts too much after the brakes are applied thus leaving the brake pads loose. It doesn't do the same on the other side. Why is this happening?

  • @deadbeat86 Ok, your caliper doesn't always have to have pressure on your pads while driving. If I were you I would take off the brake pads and polish the sleeves in the caliper that come in contact with the pads. Its probably your pads just vibrating when your putting on your brakes. You may always want to ad some disc brake lube also.

  • Completed this task on a 99 century in 2 1/2 hours working alone. I got very good quality pads with the hardware included. I recommend getting a 8-10" piece of iron pipe that will fit over your socket handle if you don't have a breaker bar. This made the loosening of some really tight caliper bolts VERY easy to remove. Also, I used a 4" C-Clamp to compress the caliper. Thanks again for the video.

  • @johnamac123 Great job on replacing the brakes.

  • Fuck off with the gay music i cant hear yoou.

  • what tools are needed in order to perform this?

  • next time NO MUSIC!!!! thx for vid

  • Cannot bear to watch this vid nor listen to it. FUcking music.

  • It's not good to compress the caliper piston directly with the c clamp, a better method would be to put an old brake pad against the piston and then put the c clamp on that, it helps to more evenly distribute the pressure and prevent any damage to the piston.

  • Great videos and explanation of brake "squeal"!
