This video shows Wild Canyon's normal mode being completed in world record time, as judged by the game clock. Intentionally dying over and over is key to getting the randomly-generated pieces to appear in their best possible spots, and thus getting the best time. Due to space constraints, not all the attempts are shown; only the 3 runs where each piece was in the right spot appear in this video.

how come it says "perfect-2000" but gives you 2500?

Each piece always gives 500 points no matter what. The extra 2000 is a Knuckles equivalent of trick points, for finding the piece quickly.

It's a trick that you are way to noob to posibbly understand. I use this trick aswell. and get about 5 seconds.
