Battling The Bottle (Fighting The Flab at War With The World) is the first single from Carter USM singer Jim Bob. Released on 19 November 2007. Taken from the album 'A Humpty Dumpty Thing' Out on Cherry Red Records on 26 November 2007.
Bloody hell I'd forgotten all about 'Falling On A Bruise' I still have the fostex demo for that that, that Les gave me when I bought their portastudio back in the day (about 83).
I've just moved house so may rummage through the stuff in the attic. Can't play the tracks on a standard cassette though..........and I flogged the portastudio yonks ago. Damn!
Pretty good, innit? I wonder will we ever get another Falling on a Bruise, or Music that Nobody Likes, or Sherrif Fatman? I read an interview years ago where they said that Jimbob comes up with the lyrics, and Fruitbat with the melodies. I dunno. Fruitbat's solo stuff isn't exactly melody heavy. Billy Smart's Circus it ain't.
The 'fella with JimBob' , Neil, is very well. Saw him 2 weeks ago.

Looks like it. Classic place especially the lower part where they sell the seafood.
