@icecursor To tell you the truth I don't remember exactly what was changed. That video was shot more than a year ago. I would imagine that I tightened the grind. I was using separate grinders for different shots.

What did you change on the second run with the bottomless portafilter? The first ristretto was rather quick, but the second... I could almost taste it when I watched!!!

The Bezzera Medea has now been replaced by the Magica. The Magica features instant on and instant off joystick style steam and hot water wands and the placement of the manometers is different otherwise the machine is the same. Everything from this video still applies. I will post a proper Magica video shortly.
