.......It's not even remotely imaginable that someone could actually make great songsabout the history of trains and glaciers. But somehow you did it Dan, congradulations. :)

Wish my earth science teacher played stuff like this ^^

Theirs one thing that can help are earth in a major way and don't get me wrong I'm a petrol head but I'm not dumb north America needs European cars if you look at mpg figures and co2 emissions in comparison to what we have here it's really quiet funny cars in Europe are getting 65+ mpg while some north American companies like ford or dodge even GM are still at 30-40 mpg mark in their city cars waste of gas really considering the technology we already have as a human race same with co2 emissions

@douglby Well then we can just sort it out by putting some water in a glacier sized bucket and leave it on the land where they used to be (Y)
My genius surprises me sometimes :')
-
@RiotQuietly that only happens because of evaporation and condensation.

A recent study has shown the sea level is actually decreasing... :/

hmm we as humans are afraid of whatwe cannot guess or understand fully this is why we are afraid of global warming yet back in the 70's it was global cooling..... this planet has a cycle represented best by the multiple ice ages that are evident through cores. Glaciers were formed yes they may rise water level a slight bit but they also carve the land beneath them. The great lakes which hold tons of water were formed by such glaciers

Why don't teachers show this stuff in school?
they dont really raise the sea level. imagine a cup of water filled to the brim with water and ice, when the ice melts the water still remains in the glass. the sea is the same way.

@RiotQuietly Glaciers are on land though - they are different to icebergs which are already in the sea.

Im confused on something. they say as the glaciers melt the water level rises right? well doesn't ice take up more space than plain water? if it all melted you would think the water would actually go down. Anyone care to comment? I'm not saying their wrong im just asking an explanation on their facts...

@UchihaSumairu Hi, this is because glaciers move over land so they aren't in the sea. When they melt, they'll usually drain into the sea and contribute to rising sea levels. Dan

You said that sometimes you are challenged to bring a boring topic to life. Did someone ask you to create this song for them or did you do it out of self interest? Absolutely brilliant however it happened, though.

@hapkidoman1 I actually can't remember why the hell I made this... I had fun doing it though and taught myself about the topic as I went along by researching the info and the footage from various sources
