Okay, here is something COMPLETELY different from me: a video not centered on H and Calleigh, but on Calleigh and Jake. Don't worry, I haven't jumped ship, that will never happen! It does become DuCaine in the end, and there are moments for the Calleigh/Jake shippers too, so there's something for everyone.
I was listening to 'Big Mistake' by Natalie Imbruglia in Miami 2 days ago, and the lyrics just struck me, and images started popping in my head almost right away. I hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed putting it together. It is a bit anti-CaKe and angsty, so be warned. If there are angry Calleigh/Jake shippers, please do not flame me. As I said before, this is anti-Cake, so if you don't like it, please do not comment. Thank you.
Please read this synopsis first before watching to save some confusion:
Calleigh meets an old flame, Jake Berkley in the aftermath of her carcrash. As she works with him, she remembers the time she spent with him in their younger years. Following a disagreement during the case, Calleigh is shot at the quays, which is partly Jake's fault. Calleigh's Kevlar vest saved her life, but Jake's actions were unforgivable. Calleigh knows Jake is no good for her, and even though he persists in trying to rekindle their relationship, she refuses his advances point blank. He never tries to apologise for what happened. She walks away from him, seemingly for good.
Even though Calleigh didn't want him to find out, Horatio discovers that Calleigh was nearly injured because of Jake. Horatio confronts Jake, angry at Jake's lack of concern for Calleigh's safety, both after the carcrash and the shooting at the pier. He warns Jake not to put Calleigh in danger anymore, or he would have to answer to him personally. Jake is defiant, saying he will come back again. Horatio vows to protect Calleigh always.
I'm not saying Calleigh isn't able to stand up for herself, I'm just saying that she didn't want to involve Horatio in this mess. So when Horatio finds out, his actions are understandable. In this video, I'm showing Calleigh's strength as Jake tries to become part of her life again, ultimately putting her in danger before himself. That is what I ultimately dislike about that ship, but I digress.

*Sepia represents Calleigh's memories of the pier-shooting.
You know, that last comment was by my 10 year old sister. SORRY. She got in troubble. she has her own account.

That's perfectly alright. To each his own, I'm sure. Everyone has the right to an opinion, no problems here.

Llove it!
But has Calleigh ever been in carcrash really?

She was run off the road in the second episode of S5, 'Going Under'. She managed to escape and swim to safety. The evidence was destroyed, and this was the exchange between her and Horatio:
Calleigh: But it's all compromised.
Horatio: Yes, everything but you, ma'am.
Really great DuCaine scene. :D
