This was before IL2, and especially for it's time this was one of the best WW2 flight games out there.

@MerckZ yeah its just a great game, i had alot of fun playing it as a kid. the dog fights were awesome and the amount of fighters and bombers you could have in a mission made for some epic battles :)
Would loveee to see a remake of it.

@Benny118811 It was so much better than any MS Combat Flight Simulator - even those that have come out in recent years. Spent a lot of my childhood playing this.

i have never seen a ww2 flight game that is better then this. I WISH THEY WOULD DO A REMAKE OF IT!!! I MISS IT!!! I USED TO PLAY THIS FOR HOURS haha!

I loved EAW. Of all the sims I've played, I've put in by far more in EAW than anything else. The campaign was great also, esp. as a CO of a squadron. You decided on loadouts and crew assignments, and it tracked kills of all the pilots in the unit. The loss of a veteran pilot is a huge blow to the unit, and becomes increasingly a problem in a Luftwaffe campaign. Especially late war, '44 onwards.

Is there any way I can find out how this
video was made? Looks like it was recorded off of a T.V. screen. I really like the way it looks. The fly-bys look slower than in-game.....really looks nice.

It was made by filming the game with my camera off a 15 inch regular computer screen. I would put my plane on auto pilot then turn the action cam on and film those sequences. I used windows movie maker to join those sequences. I used a 3dfx video card in my computer which makes the game look abit nicer than running under direct x.

Yes it is. Running on a pentium 3 850mhz with a voodoo 5 graphics card.
