this look cool but... for such an expensive camera, there is a heck of a lot of vignetting and brightness variation. I've seen better stuff shot on small consumer Canons.

You're lucky to get one of those. I'd love to get an expensive Super-8 camera for some of the cool features I could at least take advantage of (I only wish they sold the film back at the corner drug store again).
