despite him being quite pervy in the early seasons and always chasing them to go out with him etc he was always there for them in the good and bad and would always stand up for them. he was like the Brother they never had.

They just told him to go home as they found him annoying and didn't want him near them. Then they said it so much it become a funny catchphrase that was used throughout the series.
