There are alot of these kinetic typography videos on youtube. A lot of them aren't good, this one is amazing. The part about running through the city streets and the imagery is incredible.

Hi - yeah, it's After Effects. I used a few Wiggle expressions to get the hand help effect. Play around with the Wiggle effect window, or cmd-click (mac) the orientation controller on the camera and add an expression.
