The guys met and rehearsed from July 13 to 23, 2007 in a project organized by American Voices and funded by the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad with additional support from Austrian Airlines and individual donations. the great thing about hip hop dance, like any performing arts, is that it gives people a positive focus for their energies, so it might work for some young people looking for a focus in their lives, dance however is frowned upon by conservative cultures in places like Saudi and Afghanistan, so not sure if Hip Hop is the answer in places like that (yet....)
