50mW Violet (BluRay) laser cutting tape

My 50mW Violet/BluRay laser I got from shenzhen-wholesale.com cutting electrical tape.

I really love this laser and think the key safety interlock is cool.

Just take caution that it's a 50mW laser and although it doesn't look very bright it is more then capable of doing major damage to your eyes.

Depends what colour you want and if you want a burner or a pointer. If you want a good burner that is relatively cheap then there is the DX 200mW Red . A bargain pointer is the DX True 30mW Green

it took about 3 weeks from memory. Anyway don't buy this. It broke about two months after i got it and isn't good value (because of the over priced shipping). Dealextreme has a "200mW" (more like 70mW) violet laser for $29 USD (free shipping) or better yet you can get a 350mW violet from O-Like + goggles for about 125 USD

I got the Toplaser 302 50mW SKU 1523

It was excellent when it worked. Smoke wood, popped balloons. But it broke two monthes after i got it. Make sure you put the battery in the right way and label the + and - with a marker pen (the provided bat isn't labeled)
