@donbehatin the difference is that I never said that its wrong to complain. If you read my original comment you would see that part of it says "if you ask me, there is often good reason to complain about stuff."
I don't think its wrong to complain but I do think it is wrong to be a hypocrite.

Leave it to these former(or current?)drunk and drugged Eagles which 18 years ago they made this antithesis of their former lifestyle encapsulating the message that beautifully goes against the PC, Freedom-grabbing, Liberal crowd.
-
@donbehatin actually, I have thought about it and he's not understanding the meaning of the song. Yes, they are complaining about people who complain, as was I, but NOT those who complain about the weather, or the price of gas or oil for example, which they can't control, but those who complain about how their own life sucks and blame it on others rather than accepting responsibility for their own lives their own lives they CAN control but choose not to.

@zcrosby You know what's funny, man? You're doing the exact same thing you're bitching at Rangerboy9404 about. So, another Youtube hypocrite calling another Youtuber a hypocrite. It's an endless cycle of one dude being a dick and the other trying to get the dick to understand what the fuck is going on when he's too stupid to. (you are the dick in this situation)
By the way, what this song is doing is stating facts. Facts are not whining, they're facts.
-
@Rangerboy9404 i know but the song's message contradicts itself. if you hate whiners, and then whine about them, then that makes you the same as the people you hate. most people don't understand how hypocritical they are.
-
@zcrosby just putting an example out there of why I so identify with the message this song delivers
-
@Rangerboy9404 do you not realize that you're bitching and moaning right now? look up "hypocrite" in the dictionary because that's what you're being right now and you ought to know this. your statement just completely contradicted yourself.
-
@zcrosby Their NOT complaining, they're telling the complainers to "get over it" and get on with their lives! I have a friend who's constantly bitching and moaning about his current lot in life and blaming on his parents, (now deceased), his former landlord and anyone else he can think of, so I can identify with this song cause I am quite frankly sick to death of his not taking the bull by the horns and taking responsibility for his own damn life like oh I don't know, an ADULT?
-
its ironic that this song is about how they hate bitching, but the entire song is just bitching. they are bitching about bitchers. the song is about how there is never a good reason to complain, but they completely make themselves hypocrites by complaining for the entire song. what a bunch of hypocrites. if you ask me, there is often good reason to complain about stuff.

@nancy7167 This song was written and recorded for the Hell Freezes Over album in 1994. ;)
@Booberry82
I think you're addressing "social" responsibility (a separate issue entirely),
I'm addressing "personal" responsibility.
When we take "personal" responsibility, we admit that we are the ones responsible for the choices that we make and we do whatever we have to do so we don't become a burden on society.
I think this song is simply calling out that ever burgeoning class of self made victims who always blame others first for their personal shortcomings and life's failures.
