  • Thats the coolest kitchen ive ever seen!

  • This is a manual. It just shifts electronically

  • I don't know whether some of you already told her but YOU CAN REMOVE THE TWO PARTS ABOVE THE WINDOWS an put them into the parts-holder in the hatch door (at least in the original German version of the car). So they are gone too! And after lowering the sidewindows you actually have a full convertible car.

Google for smart convertible and you'll see it.

Plus it has an amazing MPG ratio and a 5 star crash rating in NCAP.

  • so cute and i wanna get one in Matte Green

  • I've also had a Brabus coupe for the past two and a half years, and also love it. Don't really think she has a complete understanding of the transmission though, otherwise it probably wouldn't be that much of an issue. It's called an automated manual transmission because it IS a manual transmission. Benefits of a manual transmission, coupled with the ease of use of an automatic.

I just wish some people would get over the view of Smart's being death traps. Hearing that gets old real fast.

  • Yes it was,

I've had my cabrio for a year and a half and love it......

  • The best personal review on the Smart i have ever seen.

  • Blimey according to this video the Toyota Prius starts at $22,000.

Well here in the Uk the cheapest Prius is just over £20,000 almost double the price of the Smart.

Comparing the Prius with the Smart in the Uk is not fair due to the massive price difference compared to the Us.

  • @Neonspinnazz30

Its not a computer that operates the gearbox but a very complex electrically operated gearbox.

The gearbox actually looks like a normal manual box but all the gears are operated by an electrical motor.

This is why in automatic mode the gearchanges can be a bit ponderous at times.

  • @lilchuber18 Well no, it's not a true manual. But it has a clutch (Automatics don't have those).

That's why it's called an "Automated Manual" - It's a manual transmission that has a computer do the shifting.

It's a hybrid in a way. You can't call it an Automatic but you can't call it a manual!
