I trust saitek a lot more than CH. Ive heard they break easily.

Saitek rules that's my point of view but according to some users it's shity. i'm a cautiusguy so may be that's why my joysticks (logitech and saitek) never break. Why? because i rather be "virtually dead" than "really buy" a new joystick.

saitek wins every aspect of flight simulation EXCEPT the pedals, i have both the CH and saitek combat pedals, CH is much nicer.

Microsoft's core physics for the default helicopter that is included in Flight simulator is a joke. Good if you are just having fun, but if you are really serious and trying to use FS as a training aid, Dodosim 206 FSX would be the way to go. Physics modeled right down to every aspect of the real deal, so it's like really flying the real thing. Great Joystick though, it goes perfect with flight sim and the Dodosim 206 FSX.

I love my X52 -- BUT by itself it can't do it all. You need the pedals too. I don't have the Saitek pedals, which I hear are good but pricey. If you don't have unlimited funds to get the Saitek pedals, at least get the CH pedals. Having pedals really do give you the "real" feel of working all the controls.
