Twister hits Illinois LIVE footage of the storm!

I was sitting in doors on a monday night when news warnings began appearing on Television for a Twister in the area. We'd been warned to get into a bath with a blanket over us to avoid the twister. Naturally we did the only thing we could.

We got into our car to do some tornado hunting and see if we could catch the twister on film.

Not all of the footage was great but I slapped it together and thought Id add it here for people to watch.

I love the idea of being so close to a force so powerful. Tornados are incredibly scary esspecially when you get up close.

I didn't get as close to the twister as I wanted this time however next year I now plan on going twister hunting!

We had an EF4 tornado here in my area of Toledo, Ohio about a month ago. Milbury, Ohio looks like a war zone...it's very sad. This is a great video. Hugs from Toledo, Ohio!!!
