  • My PX had an air leak at the cylinder head out of the dealership, ( backfired, white sparkplug head) so I got a malossi 166 kit and that fixed everything. If I parked like that in my area, my scoot would be knocked over in the morning.

  • Don't know about the new PX, but the 2007 model was cheap metal and poorly put together, (maybe because they thought that was their last batch) my PX, 2007, ain't doing too good.

Can't comment on the LML, I've never had one, but they seem sound enough to me, but to be honest, i firmly believe that Piaggio don't give a monkey's for their loyal customers who have bought and ridden their scoots for years and years (80's for me), its just business to them, we love the Vespa more than they do.

  • that would get knocked over every day of the week parked like that..!

  • @neothespian simply true my friend

  • @neothespian All the problems you mention also effected the Vespa PX !!!, you seem to forget that LML used to make Vespa's for Vespa !!!

Not wanting a slanging match here but I have compared my LML and the new Vespa side by side and the over all finish is the same, even the dealer said he was suprised when he saw them side by side.

You are right you get what you pay for and I paid £1500 new for my LML !!! good deal and not let me down yet.

  • And, the infamous LML main bearing failure that will frag your engine in less than 3k miles. You get what you pay for

  • @jimtinamx5 No, it's not: Thinner steel, crap Indian rubber and gaskets that dry out and crack in less than a year, non-Ducati electrics, crap front disc, poor paint quality that leads to premature rusting... shall I go on?

  • Thats is good way to have your scooter destroyed.

  • I park like that all the time :D

  • Save money and buy an LML instead !!!! identical scooter !!!
