I met Alex last week at the NAMM show. He came by our booth and I visited w/ him for quite awhile. What a great player and spirit! I then showed him a pic I'd taken back in 74-5 of Jaco w/ Weather Report at a show in Kansas City, and he got excited and said 'I was playing drums that night!' I knew this and am amazed I at the man and the fact he was talking to me like an old friend. Thanks Alex; Keep on!
