At Berlin's "Museum Haus am Checkpoint Charlie" we'll learn how freedom-seeking Easterners were smuggled past armed guards and into West Berlin before the wall came down in 1989. Located at the former border checkpoint between the Soviet and American sectors, the museum pays tribute to these brave smugglers and their passengers. • @ObelixDasTier Nice, anything really interesting?

  • was there yesterday.. pretty cool.

  • I'm going there in a couple o' weeks :D

  • Few years ago the City of Berlin realized that they did "too good" a job of erasing the wall from the city, and today tourists, or younger Germans simply can't find any clue just where it was. Efficiency can sometimes backfire on you.
