Morning Media Flights
2008 NAS Oceana Airshow
NAS Oceana, Virginia
Sunday September 21, 2008
IN THIS VIDEO, watch as the L-29 and L-39s make several passes over NAS Oceana - only a fraction of the flybys that actually took place, as there were MANY media flights that morning. Also listen to the CJ-6A as it passed overhead my point... it kinda doesn't sound like one! I apologize for the poor video quality, as I was trying my best to get the best video under VERY WINDY conditions, which persisted through Saturday night, but in this video, the winds aren't THAT bad.
Like what you've seen? Well, if you are interested in purchasing DVDs of specific aircraft and/or of airshows, interested in anything and everything related to airshows (where the jet teams will show up, all airshow performers, airshow reports from airshows I have attended, previews of airshows I will be attending, etc.), a much more easier to navigate "version" of all of my videos, and/or everything there is related to aviation - including spotting guides to my favorite airports and military bases and aircraft factfiles, please take time to check out Steve's Airshow World at http://www.stevesairshow.com .
Media huh. I suggest a lot of pitch oscillations and some sustained negative G's.
