@indigoshamemuk what do you know then? i genuinely am interested i have written my own book document on symbology and such and how it ties in with the matrix and other such films i have what i consider to be a small understanding, but please tell me what you know so that i can compare my conclusions with yours.

very accurate. im glad to see that people have deciphered what the meaning behind the movie the matrix is. I thought I was alone out here i just wonder how many people truely see the matrix as you and I. Even by understanding and seeing the matrix, you can still struggle seeing past yourself. However i feel that our democracy has broadened the horizons of the matrix the US gov't imposes on us as much as possible. I truely feel (and fear) there isnt any better way to do it. Your very smart.

I said this in an another video but I'm a christian anarchist and I believe in God but the theory of divine right of kings is not in any way supported by Jesus. The theory of divine right of king's exploits God and people's belief in him for a rulers own benefit. If a king says my power and my kingdom is the will of God it means he is making himself and society a replacemnet for God which is clear idolatry.

That is possible. Most anarchists are socialists anyway, and capitalism as we know it cannot exist without the state, so it is all linked together.

I think you saw what you wanted to see. Other references in the movie come when you see a window washer cleaning the windows as neo speaks to his boss. He is displeased with his well paying job. Agents of evil in business suits ext ext.

Ha ha dont get me wrong I agree with most of what you say as I am a libertarian but I think you have it backwards in this instance. The writers and producers of the Matrix are zionists hence the constant references to zion, the last standing city where "real humans" are born. In zion people dont work for money they work together to fight against the machines. The machine being capitalism. Therefor the analogy is not that we are slaves to taxation which we are but that we are slaves to capitalism

It's got a strong anarchist theme to it. But I like the Merovingian and what he said about causality in the second, but you're right about the decline in quality.

The Matrix is based on Plato's cave analogy, which works pretty well as a metaphor for any institutionalised belief system.
The two sequels however are just post-modernist grandstanding.
