I agree with these goals, but people would not have had the choice to continue buying insurance the way they do now. The plan would have eliminated insurance as we know it. I admire the goals of providing healthcare to all people, but I think the plans that passed the Senate and House are a mistake.
I hope we can get something that helps the needy without "overhauling" an entire industry.
