Ndamukong Suh attempts extra point and misses!

Lions Kicker Hanson was injured earlier in the game so the Lions sent Suh to attempt the extra point.When he was a kid he played soccor. His kick was pretty good for a linemen

@madscout96 the kicker was injured so they thought suh was the best choice to substitute, and yes i read the whole comment but its the coaches choice. i think that would have been a better choice 2 but u know coaches choice.

@vanquish649 I was a soccer player in my youth too. That doesn't mean I could have a chance to make it either. Suh is not a professional kicker. He hadn't practiced the skill over and over and gotten the timing down like professional NFL kickers. That's why they're practically automatic at extra points and Suh is not. I already read the description before my original comment. Did you read my entire comment? I mean the whole thing.

Horrible mistake to let Suh try this. They should have gone for 2 instead. The chances of success would have been the about same with either choice but obviously you get 2 points out of going for 2 instead of just 1 if Suh makes it.

Detroit Lions led 13-10 despite this missed extra point, but that miss was crucial later because NY Jets only needed a FG to tie the game 20-20. (NY Jets won 23-20 in OT.) This was on Nov. 7, 2010.
