I keep my Dragonfly Trike at home and transport/rig it at the field. This is the trailer I use. For films of how it flies / me flying it / some cool footage please check out my other films by searching for 'FLYINGPHOX88'. Also check out "7Bore Microlight" !

  • Thank you. Where are you based? Im in the UK (south west). It flies even better than it looks! Have you seen my other films (search for 'flyingphox88') also check out "7bore microlight".

    All the best

  • No difference - I think I added a few more pics/different pics

  • Hi Colin - i basically searched on e-bay for people who make trailers (specifically folding trailers) and found someone who made motor bike trailers that came to bits. I sent him the dimensions for the dragonfly (from the Flylight spec sheet) and he came up with the trailer. With a bit of tweaking we arrived at the finished article... seems to be very solid and stable and I use it every time I go fly as I keep my DF at home (but its only a 15min drive to the flying field)...

  • hi - its easy to rig as all parts are small and manageable. 10-15mins (on my own) and then another 5mins to tie down trike. I leave it rigged during the flying season (not sure when that is though) and only plan to take it apart if away for a long period of time or during winter.

  • That is a sweet bird, would love to see you flying it!!!

  • What's the difference on 2 ?

  • Great trailer. Could you tell me bit more detail about it? I also Dragonfly, but partially dismantle wing only, and store trike rigged.

    Cheers,

    Colin

  • Just wondering, how long does it take to rig and can you do it by yourself??
