@KD5UND Get a clue! There is absolutly NO NEED to run these motors at any less then 40:1 as long as you use a good oil not some cheap trash like Penzoil. I mean good oil like Amsoil or Schaefers. In the 30 + years I've been working on these old motors. I have never ever had an oil related problem with any of these vintage motors using 40:1 with a good oil.
Looks like it needs more oil. It should be a mix of 16:1
