What upgrades have you had to put on to make 390HP?

A lot, I've changed, the carb, intake, cylinder heads and cam shaft, put a higher volume fuel pump, headers, K/N filter. So basically a brand new top end. If I wanted more. I'd have to do a complete rebuild and go with flat top pistons.

What exhaust do you have on that beast? I have a 1980 and I would love for mine to sound like that PLEASE RESPOND Thank you

It's called a chambered exaust, it's specialy design for the 1968 -1982 corvettes. you can get it at mid america corvette. Make sure to choose the right one. You have some that fit's on headers and some will fit on exaust manifolds. They come complete from manifold/headers to back. You won't regret the investment.
