  • I did the same music at my show. We had something before it and differrent steps.

  • TRAGEDIA moi mili. Nie wypuściłbym takiego zespołu na scenę. O choreografii nie może być tu mowy. "Technika"- to słowo chyba celowo zostało pominięte. A za oberka stryczek.

  • @oberek92

    Pani choreograf raczej... ;)

Rzeczywiście...jest on niedopracowany...choreografia ładna, jeno tancerze niedouczeni...tyle ładnych figur pominięto...wydaje mnie się jakby pani choreograf chciała wcisnąć na siłę dużo pokazowych figur a luki pomiędzy nimi pozatykać wręcz przedszkolnymi...całość na początku robi wrażenie chaosu...obroty dziewcząt w takim rozkroku...no kto to widział...trzymanie rąk...dużo, ale to duuuużo pracy jeszcze czeka...życzę tylko powodzenia...

  • it is folk. , its part of a variety of other polish folk dances most commonly know among them includes the Mazurek, Oberek and zbojnidski.

  • Well, you know, it's a show. despite dancing folk dances, dancers are on the scene, and there are people watching. So there has to be some kind of choreography. Obviously you can't dance exactly as it was in the taverns long time ago. But you can arrange steps so the fit the scene without loosing the original character. You have mix traditional steps with entertaining the spectators. And this is how it should work in folk groups in my opinion. :)

  • Hello ! Thank You for the information. It´s also a dance like Rock´n´Roll - one basic step, but with many figures, also acrobatic ones. The problem is that folk dance groups from the former socialist states, but also from Italy and Spain, do much choreography and perform like ballets. And it isn´t clear what´s traditional and what´s the choreographer´s idea...

  • Hi. Krakowiak is one of the polish national dances. Former capitol city of Poland is called Kraków (Cracow in English). Basic steps are very simple like since 0:17 to 0:22. But as you can see, there are plenty of figures. The most characteristic is called hołubce - 0:48 to 0:55. It's not completely 'freestyle' dance, because steps originate from polish tradition and refer to region of Cracow and Małopolska. :)

  • Hello ! I see so many videos called Krakowiak here, but can anybody explain what kind of dance the Krakowiak is ??? i see mass figures, partly artistic movements, but cannot identify something like a basic step like in the Vienna Waltz. Is there any, or is it a complete "Freestyle" dance ? What´s the matter ?

  • ciekawe figury :) naprawde pierwszy raz takie spotkałam ;) extra :) szczególnie poczatek i koniec ;)
