  • Apparently if any of you commenters watch anything about sharks, you'll see how the don't eat humans.they just bite and leave.

  • @OTKgamer well said, another couple of attacks in Australia where sharks did just that

  • that is a freikn lie!! only blind sharks would mistaken people as other food, and they live rly far down in the ocean, great white sharks are not blind they can see, they can tell the difference between a seal and a human, they look nothing alike. sorry. get your facts straight

  • @papermoonhearts Thanks for your comment, it is still a bit of a mystery. But it doesn't explain why lots of sharks 'let people go' once they've had a bite, and they don't do that to seals. At my local beach this year a boy was attacked by what was thought to be a Great White, it was in murky water early in the morning. It seems the shark let him go once it realised the boy wasn't 'food'. The boy is okay, he's got some big scars but he continues to surf in the same place!

  • @one1whale i have read alot about sharks and they do not always mistaken someone for a seal. they are very curious. They just take a bite to find out what they are and swim away.

  • @DeWarp10 Yep thanks, that seems to be what shark experts agree on.

  • @killerslayer543 As a tactic, GWS will rush up from underneath large prey like Bull seals and just smash them and cause severe lacerations. They then leave them to bleed out before they eat them, this is to avoid injury from the prey.

  • @MationatorX Besides the ferocity and speed of the attack, yes they are only looking for a silohette and it's not like GWS has lots of different things the shape and size of a seal where it has to carefully investigate before it strikes. I have actually seen quite a few big Tigers and one GWS while diving and they generally just show you a passing curiosity.

  • speaks like bear grylls

  • Nice video, Phil! This was my first video I see of your Cartoons! Sharky, my favourit shark ever! THE BIG BLUE SHARKY!

  • 8 surfers dont think this is funny

  • @papermoonhearts acctually, when a shark attacks a seal, it comes up from below. so with the sunlight shining down in the water, only the shadow or outline of an object is visible. and a surfer on a surfboard from that angle does somewhat represent a seal to a shark at least, since they're not as intelligent as humans.

  • @yoe91 sharks think people r seals the same when a person is on a serfing bored

  • @papermoonhearts Humans and seals don't look anything alike aye ?......hmmm, interesting theory.

  • @one1whale my God, what patience you have !! That asshole with the ridiculous nick papermoonhearts obviously knows nothing at all - probably never watched a single documentary about sharks - and still has the nerves to come insult you on your own video lol.

I love how he's actually trying to convince YOU that humans on boards and seals don't look alike. Maybe he thinks you really are Sharky ?...

  • looool the voice !!! "Tali hoeeee !"
