In the year of 1972, first time I visited Tokyo, I went to Yurakucho by subway train and tried to search for that tea room ビールのほとりの, I just couldn’t find it.
Peter75648 san I also deeply touched every time as I hear and see this song of
Franku Nagai san at movie. As you say all famous actor ,actress of The movie and song were gone to Heaven. I am very very sad . It means that Syouwa of age in Japan also passed way forever.
I am deeply touched every time as I hear this song. I saw the movie Yurakuchore Aimasho in Taiwan in the year of 1958 ?, This movie reminds me of Kawaguchi Hiroshi, Nozoe Hitomi, Kyo Machiko and Sugahara Kenji, now probably all of them are passed away. The choir you sing this song is beautiful just like the Russian choir I heard frequently for singing their Katiusha.
