Its funny how people are bringing up freedom of religion in one sentence and contradict it in another. If this guy and his congregation wish to express their religion by burning a Quran, then they are protected by the first amendment, so long as the the assembly is peaceful. Aside from calling this person stupid and wrong, they offer no reasoning other than America's image and fear, and that it's wrong because its wrong. I'm sure that there are numerous people out there that support this

even if he burnt all the qurans in the world, He CANT burn the memory of those millions of people who have memorised the entire Quran, letter for letter, word for word, page for page. He is just wasting his time. Allah already promised to preserve this book and no one can change that. If all the books of this world were thrown in the ocean, the quran would be the one which would come back in its original form without anything changed. its in he hearts and minds not just a book. we breath it.

It is wrong to say it's wrong, Oprah. In fact freedom of religion also means freedom from religion. The US constitution only mentions, along with the 1st amendment, how important it is to keep religion out. Religious moderates like, Oprah, are a key problem & Sam Harris can explain why this is so, far more eloquently:
