A couple of days ago I finished Tengen Toppa Gurren Laggan. I have to say it was a great experience to watch this piece of art. I usually don't like mecha-style anime, but this one was perfect. I totally recommend it.

This video is an alternative intro/trailer, or whatever, that I made for the series using after effects. Actually, is my first video using just after effects. Lately I've been practising a lot with this program, learning new techniques and improving my skills as much as I can. Hope you guys enjoy it.

Well you have "obviously" been practicing so i don't think it matters if this is your first amv with after effects or not.

Either way though you owned this on so many levels even the little subliminal message of having us "subscribe you" was complete brilliance. xD

But i have to say this is one of my favorite edits i have seen in awhile not just because gurren lagann is my #1 favorite anime.. okay maybe it has a little to do with it but anyway..

Because this was just flat out perfect.

that was really well made... use of effects went really well with the songs tempo.. and your use of scenes was catchy... but seriously.. at 41 seconds in.. you had me busting up laughing... and yes.. I will sub to you.. what you did was a nice pull..
