  • i dont understand how this meant to work.. why would relaxing whilst pushing with my arm cause somebody to release their grip and/ or fall over? hes right, its simple, too simple.

  • the action is easy. but getting good enough at it is extremely hard it goes against your instincts as a mammal trying to defend yourself. in a street fight i cant stay calm enough my breathing goes weird and yeah. you have to keep yourself relaxed or all your blood rushes to your arms in fight mode. if you can stop that their is more oxygenated blood flowing through your brain. this gives you the advantage.

  • Great explanation by the master itself.

and LoL for the man on the left (who is using russian army uniform).. :D

  • Great teaching vid

  • "when you tense up, don't you tense up so much, tense him up"

and you can see he does exactly that.

    vlad is the man!

    thanks for posting.

  • Sounds so simple. But it is quite counterintuitive as a psychological matter to use relaxation against an opponent who is grabbing you. I'm getting there but am still far from mastering it.

    Thanks for posting :)

  • excellent explanation.
