Older Michiganians Day Event Cynthia Farrell Interview

To commemorate Older Michiganians Day on June 24, a panel of experts explained how older adults can protect themselves from financial exploitation or seek justice if they are victimized. This event was held at
Grandville Senior Neighbors Center, 3380 Division SW, Grandville, MI 49418

A Michigan Department of Human Services adult abuse toll-free hotline 800-996-6228 received more than 1,400 referrals for financial exploitation.

The panel hosted by the DHS and several regional partners also calls attention to issues that impact older adults and provides an opportunity to explore ways to help older Michigan residents improve their quality of life.
