Mass Effect Music - JiveDJ's Remix

This was posted on the Mass Effect Forums as a download. JiveDJ doesn't have a YouTube account, so I thought I'd put it on YouTube for him. Here's what he has to say about the piece:

I've just completed a pet project that I've been working on for the past couple of months, in my down time.

It is a trance/drum and bass remix (by remix, I mean that I've used his melodies, bass notes, and chords to create my own version - from scratch - of his song) of Sam Hulick's Mass Effect Opening song, which can be heard in the E3 '06 Demo Video. I've also added some of my own unique/original melodies and basslines, to spice it up a bit.

With that said, let's get the legal stuff out of the way:

This remix was inspired by the intellectual property of Sam Hulick. I claim no rights to this music, as this is a fan-remix I have created solely for recreational purposes; I also don't intend to receive any monetary gains from this song/remix.

Sounds like he is saying to not stray far from the original game soundtrack like he said. At the same time he thinks you could give it your own spin, but not make it hard to recognize it as mass effect.

I think the the side mission - gathering system (described by Andy) would be a great idea. There are mercenary groups, big companies, and other interest groups, turians, asaris, salarians, batarians, krogans, quarians, even geths who could support our war against the reapers. I realy liked the Noveria mission in ME1, as I remember Saren was the main investor of several high tech firm, so in ME3 Shep. could do some business too.

@Persason ...I'm a little confused by your statement.  On one hand you suggest I remain more true to the original songs, but then you go on to say that my songs should have more originality (which actually means to be unique). Care to clarify?
