@klambert198 apparently in the articles that were written he stated that he wanted to help japanese baseball grow by staying and making future players stay in japan rather then leaving to play in the big leagues
honestly his fastball looks between 94-97 and seems to jump on the hitter, not to mention that his slider looks pretty sharp. from this footage he has two pitches that are plus, dont know if he has a third pitch. he would be a very good pitcher on an average team. on a great team he would be better.
@AZbaseballplayer He had a window to leave Japan before and he didn't take it. Why??? I honestly think it was out of fear of Major league hitters... In his MLB prime I think he will be a 2 Starter in the lower teams of the national league and a 3 in the lower teams of the American. I am just not impressed by him....... Although I give him props for being able to throw in the mid 90's. 85 is my peak :(
@TheMrninjafish wishful thinking, with their money and resources the yankees will never really suck that just anti-Yankee bullshit.

I read that he did not come over yet due to political reasons. Something about him being from Iran.
