  • Just got the R16. Thanks for putting this video together. Question: can you insert different effects to two separate inputs simultaneously? I had two guitar players who wanted different (dry) input sounds but I found that inserting distortion was only possible on a single track.

  • @dlrandr

sorry dlandr, I've just tested it and you're right. Distortion only works on one channel. i can't help you.

  • When you are done doing a multi-track session and one of the tracks isn't to your liking. Can you record over/ replace that existing track?

  • @lilbuckie

    yes

  • Does the R16 work as an audio card when I simply play music or movies in any computer program? What I mean is, can it replace the onboard audio card for all purposes?

  • Hi alelakes,

sorry, i can't say this. I use the R16 only without computer. So, only with boss gt 10, amplifier, mic and audio source.

btw. please read the Videoinformation. That's not my own review.

  • can i hook up a large or small external mix desk when tracking live.

  • No Auto Tune??????? THANK GOD!! If you need that, you shouldn't be recording at all.

  • Crappy manual. Glad these videos are here. A quick note; I've found that the "short plate" verb is real organic and unobtrusive. Doesn't jump out at you, sounds nice.

  • I figure i could use this for recording a song with the band during a songwriting session.

But now i have a 2 input audio interface which im really happy with but i obviously cant record drums with it. But would i get good quality if i recorded drums at my drummers place with the R16 and then recorded the rest with my computer at home using cubase?

  • do you you guitar effects in the zoom or your own?

  • @alelakes

Yeah you can use it to replace your audio card :)

  • If I sync two R16's together-can i still use them to record 16 tracks simotamiously by using them as an audio interface/control system? And by using them for an audio interface, do i still need a jump drive or memory card to save my files, or can i just do it on my computer??
